Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Kisimenti (âweâ, âusâ, âourâ). By using our platform you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. What Kisimenti is
Kisimenti is an all-in-one online business management platform. We help businesses build websites and storefronts, manage inventory, track sales, handle bookings, send invoices, and run day-to-day operations â all from one dashboard.
2. Who can use Kisimenti
Our service is designed for businesses operating in Rwanda. You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to agree to these terms on behalf of your business.
3. Waitlist and access
Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the platform. We review each application and will notify you when your dashboard is ready. The waitlist is non-binding â you are not committing to a paid plan by joining.
4. Your account
Once approved, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
5. Plans and billing
- Kisimenti offers quarterly, biannual, and yearly billing cycles.
- Prices are listed in Rwandan Francs (RWF) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- You can cancel your plan at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- We may change pricing with at least 30 daysâ notice. Existing billing cycles are honoured at the old price.
- There are no setup fees and no lock-in contracts.
6. Payments
Kisimenti does not process payments on your behalf. Your plan subscription is billed directly. For your customersâ payments, you set up your own payment integrations (such as MTN MoMo, Airtel Money, or card processors) through the dashboard. Kisimenti does not collect, hold, or process your customersâ payment funds.
7. Your content
You own everything you upload or create on Kisimenti â your products, images, business data, and customer information. We do not claim ownership of your content.
By using the platform, you give us permission to host, display, and transmit your content as needed to provide the service (for example, showing your products on your storefront).
8. What you must not do
- Use the platform for anything illegal under Rwandan law.
- Upload content that is fraudulent, harmful, or infringes someone elseâs rights.
- Attempt to access other usersâ accounts or data.
- Interfere with the platformâs operation or security.
9. Limitation of liability
Kisimenti is provided âas isâ. While we work hard to keep the platform running smoothly, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages (such as lost profits or business interruption).
- Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
10. Ending the relationship
Either party can end this agreement. If you cancel, your access continues until the end of your current billing period. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with notice where possible.
After termination, we will retain your data for 30 days so you can export it, then delete it unless required by law to keep it longer.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Kigali.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify you by email if the changes are significant.
